Soon, he is pacified to see Lang-hsien has his businesses well under control. Shao-hu is displeased that Hai-min marries Tsung-chi. Chih-hao learns of their marriage with bitter sadness. Hsiu-fang has hidden the suicide of Pai-chin's original girlfriend Yu-lien from Pai-chin all these years. She has made up a story saying that Yu-lien has eloped with a man called Chin-tang. Now, Chin-tang is back to Hong Kong and he blackmails Hsiu-fang for money.
