Masato Kamishiro (Hiroki Narimiya) and Mio set off on an anniversary trip to plan the murder of Mio (Miori Takimoto). Souma Ishiguro (Yoshihiko Hosoda) chases after them to stop them, but Masato notices them. Meanwhile, the police are in an uproar after it is revealed that Masato's ex-wife, Aya Kamishiro (Noriko Aoyama), was also murdered. Mio has complete faith in Masato.
