Due to the crisis of May 13, 1958, General De Gaulle returns to power. On June 4, 1958, in Algiers, De Gaulle says to the crowd: “I have understood you.” In September 1958, the Fifth French Republic and the GPRA (Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic) are born at the same time.
