Rodrigo Sousa is a Mexican actor, voice actor, singer, and vocal director born in Mexico City on March 8, 2005. He began developing his artistic interests at a young age, studying piano, singing, and music from childhood before pursuing acting and musical theatre. His early theatrical training included studies at MMStudio, the academy of Patricia Reyes Spíndola, and The Broadway Center, where he participated in productions of musical theatre and developed experience as a performer.
Sousa began working professionally in entertainment through live events and character performance, gaining recognition for portraying Cat Noir in official events and activations associated with the animated series Miraculous Ladybug. His work with the character has included official fan events, conventions, holiday activations, and the Miraculous Run in Mexico City. He has also participated in Disney productions and live entertainment projects, including Disney’s Sorpresa Mickey: ¡Celebremos Juntos! and Disney’s Roadshow LATAM.
Alongside his work on stage and in live entertainment, Sousa developed a career in voice acting and dubbing. He trained for two years at the Escuela de Doblaje y Locución de Toni Rodríguez, now Voz Genius, working with several established Mexican voice actors and directors. His dubbing credits include productions such as Stranger Things, Heartstopper, Academia de Golf, Cadáveres, and Dark Moon: The Blood Altar. His work on Stranger Things includes the Spanish-language voice of Danny Harrington, while he also participated in Behind the Curtain: Stranger Things – The First Shadow. His screen work has expanded into television and film. In 2025, he appeared in the Mexican television series Papás por siempre, playing the role of Chico Tímido. He later joined the cast of Abeja Voladora (Flying Bee), directed by Alonso Betancourt Cherbowsky, portraying Jesús Langle. The film marked another step in his development as a screen actor, alongside his continuing work in voice performance and live entertainment. Sousa has also worked behind the scenes in performance and musical direction.
